Solo Performance – Millana Park 2017

The Beginning of the End…

Soundtrack to a childhood.

March10

When I hear this song it reminds me of a child. Sweet, innocent, seeing the purity in life. A big part of me wants my piece to be feelgood, about learning life lessons and coming away a stronger person. But then I have also been given the idea of having a sense of juxtaposition in my piece by having twisted fairy stories. I like the idea of having the juxtaposition, fairy stories for adults, twisted, happy but sad, a child like setting with adult themes. I want the audience to feel the comfortability and innocence of their childhood, with the hardship and reality of adult life.

Hide. & Seek.

February20

This song.

Everyone has one or a few songs that just take them to an unexplainable place.

Enducing certain emotions. Creating a place that only you can exist in. Passion. Opinion. To me, thats what art is about.

This in my OPINION is art.

Writing and Thinking.

February20

I have started writing…

I’m thinking…

Remembering…

When I was younger, like most children, my dad used to read me a story before bed. Though, eventually, we ran out of books, so he started to make up stories for me.

These stories would always be about different things but would always include a magical fairy princess and her Dad (Me and my dad)

When I was younger I had this obsession with fairies, mermaids and everything mythical, I believed 100% that they were real. I used to tell to my parents, when they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, it was the same answer everytime, A PROFESSIONAL FAIRY PRINCESS.

So thats it, fairy princess it is.

Lets see where this final story takes me.
